The 2008 event planning is underway, if you have any input to the recreation events please email us! The plans for 2008 include:

Volunteers and Committee Members Wanted!
The McKeesport Recreation Committee is seeking responsible individuals who are interested in volunteering at our events. Please call Jim Brown at 412-675-5068 and leave a message. We also are always in need of Committee Members or just attend a Recreation Board Meeting with your ideas! We meet the second Thursday of each month at McKeesport City Hall Council Chambers. Hope to see you there!
If your Organization would like to have their City event listed with us, please click on the email link above. Postings are subject to verification and approval. Please include the Name of the organization, the event, dates and times and a contact phone number for the Chairperson who is organizing the event.

MYREC Dissolved:
MYREC has now dissolved as an organization.  The City of McKeesport Recreation Committee will do what we can to keep the entertainment going throughout the year. Please check the events page frequently for updates.
